I just came across an excellent theory on the stages that teachers go through while they grade student’s work. It was posted by “not that kind of doctor”. Here is the link:

The irony is that being in the end of the semester, I have experienced most of these stages already. Specially the stage of ‘anger’. It is in that stage where you wonder:
-Did I waste my time everytime I explained the task?
- Did anyone listen as I spoke?
-Why did I post sample papers on Blackboard?
-Do they not know how to write?
-Am I not the English language learner?
